The most versatile piece in my wardrobe at the moment are these Weekday jeans, which I have been wearing on repeat this summer. So how about pairing your favorite summer staples with a light layer to face a windy day in style? The key? Simply throw on a bomber jacket.  I’ve paired these jeans with a light bomber to avoid any Marilyn Monroe moments while running errands. As you can notice, I am still wearing my sandals, since they work with this outfit, as it wasn’t raining on that day. I think they fit nicely in combination with the jeans. The mix between the white jeans, sandals (summer staples), and the bomber jacket(transitional piece) makes the outfit interesting, since you would normally wear such a jacket with boots or loafers instead.

Throwing on a linen duster coat or light trenchcoat could work the same exact way. Do you have any other suggestions on what to wear during a windy summer day? Let me know in the comments below.
