Let’s face it: A slinky LBD is to Saturday night as florals are to spring, so to choose this Reformation dress as a party companion was an obvious choice.

I seldom wear short dresses, but hey, what is summer for, particularly when the weather allows it, or better said: when you are forced to wear as little as possible due to heat. Talking about certain conditions allowing you to wear certain things, I think that as long as you’re young and have the body for it: go for it and wear the sexy dress and high heels from time to time. It probably sounds cliché but YOLO isn’t a lesser truth because of it.

That’s not to deny the fact that you don’t need to be showing off your body or dress provocative to feel sexy, but to have fun sometimes with fashion and highlight your favorite body parts is key. I mention this mostly due to the fact, that at least here in Germany, girls often abuse carefree and oversized casual style. Not to underestimate the power of a plain tank top, a white tee, cargo shorts, and sneakers, because nothing beats comfort, but a little change from time to time won’t kill anyone. Or at least it’s better to take advantage of youth now and avoid regrets later in life during a midlife crisis.

Wishing you all a great Sunday. x

BTW, check out other ways to style your LBD  here to inspire you this summer.
