It's super difficult for me to let go of clothes and shoes I don't wear anymore, which is  why my closet is long overdue for a spring cleaning.  The main reason why I can't seem to get rid of stuff is because the last thing I am is a compulsive shopper. I think for weeks or even months before I buy something, I even stay with the stuff I order online until the time is due to send them back, to see if I truly want to keep it and to try to find more than 5 ways to wear it with already existing items in my closet. This is also why I often miss out stuff I consider buying, since they tend to sell out by the time I finally make up my mind.

However, I found this white cocoon coat I bought last year while starting to store my winter coats. I might not wear it often, but I still think it's a beautiful piece that I'll definitely wear in a future. I can pair it with an all white ensemble, with greys, beige, and like I am wearing it now: with black. I can add a belt and heels to make it look  femenine and not limit its masculine cut, or even wear it with a skirt underneath. It's definitely a tricky piece to style, but with a little imagination you can find lots of ways.

How about you? Do you also have trouble in letting go of things? Do you keep your closet  minimal, as in a capsule wardrobe, or are you an incurable hoarder and you have it overflowing and overloaded?

Yup, I'm the worst in letting go but I'm focusing on ridding my closet of the things that I never really wear. Stuff that I've had forever but don't fit in with my style anymore. I'm also not a compulsive buying anymore, and I really like that. And yes, I miss out on things too because of that. But rediscovering things is always fun especially when it's a piece like that great jacket you're wearing. Adds such a chic touch always and I'm loving this mix on you beautiful!

Such a great look, it's beautifully simple but the different textures give it that extra oomph.
Regarding my wardrobe, I should be cleaning up some time soon, but everything still fits in our closets so it doesn't feel very urgent 😉 . I'm not a hoarder, but some items have a history and I do find it hard to let these go.
