Today I didn’t go for my usual femenine look, but instead opted for tomboy style. It’s all about the backless loafers, which is one of the few trends I am really digging at the moment. They will continue to rule the streetstyle scene this year. I’ve paired them with my absolute favorite super long camel coat and cropped trousers. The latter highlight the style of the shoes.

We owe the return of backless loafers originally to Tibi. However, this year it’s all about Gucci and its ‘granny chic’ aesthetic. While I am not so keen on  the loafers with fur that you’ve been seeing everywhere in the past months and while I am also not really a Gucci fan at all (and I’m certainly not fond of ‘granny chic’), I do really like the laid-back vibes and edge flat mules add to an outfit.

How about you? Would you wear backless loafers? How would you combine them?

Wishing you all an awesome weekend. x
