Even though I dress tomboyish sometimes, I have to say I have a thing for femenine silhouettes, so I’m all for anything and everything belted or cinching my nonexistant waist. Kimonos are flattering  on any body type and can be paired with looser bottoms, like in this case, these wide legged cropped pants. You can also wear them with a full skirt, culottes, and you get the idea: a voluminous bottom.

I bought these Alexander Wang pumps on ebay for a tiny fraction of what they cost, and they are brand new and super comfy! Major score! I definitely needed a pair of sleek stiletto pumps that can be paired with my numerous wide legged garments to bring some balance to my ensembles this summer. Yes, I’m planning to wear more femenine and elegant outfits this summer and less of those comprised of sneakers. Why? Partly because I am kinda getting sick of them despite the fact I wear them always at home and during my free time, but my main reason is that spring and summer are the only times of the year where you can wear open shoes, so mostly for the sake of variety.

How about you guys? Are you into kimonos and figure hugging silhouettes? How would you wear a kimono?

Also, obwohl ich gerne in meiner Freizeit Turnschuhe tragen, braucht man Vielfalt in seinen Outfits.
