If you are not the denim cut offs kind of person and you’d like to wear something casual, yet something you can dress up and dress down during the hottest days of summer, culottes is the answer to everything. Pair them with pumps and a blazer for work, with strappy sandals and a crop top for a night out, and with slides or sneakers for a Sunday stroll around the city.

These will stay with us for seasons to come, trust me, so it’s worth it to invest in a pair or two. I love how they come in different lengths and shapes. Personally, I am a fan of culottes with a rigid structure. Yup, the architect in me still has a soft spot for anything sculptural.
