The trouser/jeans style that defined the 90’s were flared, while bootcut dominated the 00’s, but in the 10’s the skinny and baggy/boyfriend/carrot leg/harem/wide legged models have taken over.

I recall my mother when I was a small kid in the 80’s wearing the most hideous pants I had ever seen back then in my short life and during years after that. They were banana yellow and had this harem-like cut and for the longest time I cringed at the thought of such style ever coming back.  Well, to my surprise they did and what do I think of them? I love them. While they are not exactly like the models that were trendy 3 decades back and it’s more like a new take on them, I think they are already classic staples and a refreshing style, since they are super comfortable, while they can be worn casually as well as formally.

So today I am wearing these super relaxed pair I got for 10 Euros at H&M with a classic tuxedo blazer and Adidas Superstars, 3 classics from different decades that go perfectly well together. Who would have thought. No banana yellow this time, though. 😉

I too love a good harem and drop-crotch style of pant. They’re just so effortlessly hip, and I’m really lovin’ those pants on you. They’d seamlessly mesh up with a lot of stuff and this laid back chic pairing is so you. You look so put together and radiant per usual! :))
