Those of you who’ve been following me for a while now have surely noticed I am not the jewelry kinda gal. While I used to modestly wear selected pieces of very simple jewelry several years ago, I simply felt it was just not my thing, especially after my style got more and more influenced by minimalism. The reason for it is that I find most jewelry too flashy, overloaded, and even tacky and vulgar.

However, when I spotted Sayaka Davis Jewelry’s ‘Lila’ Semi Circular Bracelet in Garance Dore’s blog, I was immediately sold by the fine, clear, minimal lines, and by the simple geometry of her designs, which scream elegance and delicacy. They are statement jewelry pieces which prove that simplicity can be the most powerful and say much more. Check out Sayaka Davis’ amazing shop and designs here.
