Here an edgy outfit idea on how to wear checked trousers like a badass when it’s cold outside and add life to your winter ensemble.

I confess that I’ve never been a fan of check print, because it often looks too sober for my taste. However, achieving an effortless look with checked trousers is not really that hard. The print actually adds dimension, texture, and offers different tones, all elements you can play and use to your advantage. For instance, these brown checked trousers have rust lines in exactly the same color as the teddy coat I am wearing, so it makes the outfit more playful and cohesive.

Another advantage of checked trousers is the fact that you can easily dress it up with mules or loafers and dress it down with sneakers. In conclusion: who says checked trousers can only be worn to the office or for serious occassions? They are quite the versatile piece.
