Behold my favorite collection thus far, lovely readers. And honestly, I think it’s pretty much impossible to beat.

Granted, Jacquemus’ futuristic and avant-garde minimal aesthetics are neither for the faint-hearted nor for those seeking for merely functional and classic garments. Though, one must observe that his creations are, in spite of their eccentricity and playfulness, pretty wearable. Or at least, I’d wear it all.

If you take an even closer look, the shapes, forms, and silhouettes might be exaggerated, but there is a beautiful simplicity behind it all. At 25, he has achieved what people who double his age haven’t, i.e. originality and his own trademark style. I dare say he is my favorite designer of all times.

It’s so amazing to think of how he’s already established himself at such a young age, and he is one of the designers that I definitely look forward to seeing season after season. I feel that a lot more of the pieces in this collection are more wearable than in seasons past. He rocks for sure and I wouldn’t mind wearing anything from this collection. I’ll take it all haha.
