Fashion Landscape (formerly ‘Paint me in the Landscape’) was created in December 2011 as my own outlet of artistic self-expression, where fashion, cinemagraphs, photography, video, and outfits are my main media.

My main aim is to create and to inspire and in this blog you will find content ranging from fashion, outfits, editorials, and interior design to art & architecture.

My Style

My  personal style can be often described as ‘Minimal Luxe’, though it can also be edgy and laid-back. One day you’ll see me relaxed wearing sneakers, polished wearing heels with unique designs on the next.

I  have a penchant for structured pieces with an architectural twist due to my background in architectural design, which is a big influence in my personal style. A neutral palette, waistcoats, full length coats, clean cuts, tailoring, asymmetry, tunics,  leather, and ripped denim are some of the elements you will always find in my outfits.

What is ‘Minimal Luxe’?

A type of minimal, unfussy style that still manages to be a luxe form of  understated, urbane elegance. It is an aesthetic that consists of refined yet quiet sophistication rather than opulence.

It favours clean lines, timeless cuts, architectural and structured silhouettes in fine fabrics, neutral palettes, playful proportions, tailoring, subtle fabric contrasts, juxtaposition, and monochromatic ensembles.

Some fashion houses that are practitioners of minimal luxe design: Céline, Jil Sander, Beaufille, Jacquemus, The Row, Marni, Tibi, Proenza Schouler, Sportmax, Monse, Roseta Getty, Dion Lee, and Christopher Esber amongst others.
